Basel Land is the other half canton of Switzerland (Basel Stadt is the first half canton). Basel Land covers an area running east, south and west of Basel Stadt toward the Jura in the west and south, sharing the border with France in the West.

This house is on West Plateau in Binningen, Basel's richest areas. It is a bitingly cold, overcast day in February after snowing overnight. The door was the only colourful part of the house. |
