1977 -1980: Customer service engineer for medium size mainframes and data communications.
1980 - 1982: System support engineer, marketing technical support for computer word processing and accounting systems.
1983: Software engineer - message switching computer systems and X.25 packet switching data network (Dataflash project).
1984: Project Engineering Manager for Dataflash project. Project planning and coordination, team of 25 people in Canberra, Melbourne and Perth. Project successfully delivered in 1986.
1988: Responsible for preparing and running tenders for a computer based systems, technical adviser in data communications and quality assurance manager for data networks projects.
Joined CelsiusTech Australia in 1991 as Quality Manager when it was a startup venture in its first year of operation. First Australian Executive Management Team member. Successfully took the company through Quality System certification to AS3901 and AS3563, and ISO9001:1994 in 1995.
CelsiusTech Australia has grown from 20 staff in 1992 to over 140 staff, and is a profitable part of Saab Technologies today.
Led the company Information Technology Strategic study and the MIS Steering Committee.
Responsible for the Project Management Handbook and served on project steering committees.
